Blog/ Library Giveaway~Fitness Food

Cleaning out/ organizing the office...out with the old..in with the new half a dozen books I ordered on Amazon this week. One lucky blogger/ reader will get something from the collection ;D

I also have a closet full of recipe books and a bedroom shelf full of "fun" (and more health books)...the best of the best includes my beloved Twilight Saga, which I would never give up!

Thanks so much for all the kind comments...I'm so glad you all dig "The Fitness Riot"

I'm working on a blog post for you guys on Alkaline/Acidic Foods,  as promised....so stay tuned...just a lil' longer!

The latest on my blog move....

Here's my dilemma....

I would like to keep this current blog up and running for viewers to come back to, also to link posts to my possible new blog ;-)

When I initially started this blog, I came up with the name based on my business and my training...even though nutrition is and always has been such a huge part of my life. I never really knew what direction I was going with my blog...and if you have been reading, you should know that I love posting about healthy food, nutrition and fitness as a whole! I still LOVE the exercise part of it..I guess, it's not as exciting to "write" about for me(?), or I feel it's too complicated b/c I am very anal about proper form and detail when it comes to exercise and trying to get every component and tip out there would take hours of work, videos, and constant pics that I do not have the time or resources to doThis is why I have created a few solid exercise posts, and all the others have been kept light; whether it's my personal workout or a quick tip here or there.

My business, Body Sculpt Sports & Fitness has also evolved and changed over the past 5 years as well. I started out doing a lot with sports teams and youth fitness, and kind of fell into working with a MUCH wider variety of clientele, as well as getting more into nutrition and healthy life coaching. There are other services I am in the process of adding to my business and hope to be able to provide some of my services world wide if possible...maybe with the help of a few other professionals field that are out there ;-)

The new site will not only rid me of my issues with blogger...I can keep all the posts I have worked so hard on this past year at it's original site; and have a "continuation" on a new, fresh site, I can pair  this change with my evolving business as well. The new site will be pretty much the same as this one, I can maybe add a resource page to send clients to for more info on my services; however, the main pages will consist of my blog posts and tips, just like you're used to!

The post I was trying to get out the other night when I was having issues included my office clean out and organizing my book shelf. Here's my VERY FIRST blog giveaway....there may be more to follow, depending on what I can let go of!

This book is in perfect condition...It even SMELLS NEW! There's also a section on fueling & hydrating your body for exercise!

I have only  used it  a little (mostly been kept on my book shelf in my office, not my kitchen), there's some great recipes in here...a lot of Omnivore recipes, and since I have cut out the meat, and my hubby is super "plain" with his meat (he likes what he likes, never had luck with ANY recipe books for HIS meals,  can never get "fancy" with him). There are still a lot of meat-less recipes; great for a veg-omnivore couple...or even a pescetarian. I have no use for it anymore...so it's going to go to one lucky blogger!

I thought it was a fitting giveaway, given the title of the book is the same title as the recipe page on my blog :-)

Comment your new blog idea to enter (or even if you like the current and don't want a change)! If you gave me your advice in the last post I will count it, like I said. You can comment if you're interested for another entry (no need to suggest a name again). I AM considering the current title, so the winner maybe be random based on all the responses I have gotten so far :D

Thanks to EVERYONE for the support! I truly appreciate all of your input, advice and ideas! Thanks for putting on your thinking caps ;-)

....will be posting the alkaline blog for you all asap!

xoxo
