Who's going!!????
I was going to do the triple header tomorrow night, don't know if I can sit in a theater for 7.5 hours though. It's a little much. Especially since I wouldn't get home close to 2am. The next chance I have to see it is Thursday afternoon but all my sellout friends are headed to the shore early :/ Which means I will be dragging my siblings to come see it with me.
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was swell.ish.
Saturday, after we got our workout in at the gym and it was time for lunch...Michael was complaining how I never have food in the house, aside from vegetables and fruit. He wont eat the bread I buy, or the peanut butter...especially not almond butter. He told me if I bought "regular" PB...which is totally off...he would eat it. I told him I do have "regular" REAL peanut butter. It's peanuts, that's it..not the sugary, chemically, stuff he's used to. He won't even try mine. Very frustrating. Anyway, he told me that "normal" people have stuff in their freezers...HA, he is SO weird with food, that he never wanted frozen stuff. I love him dearly, I really do, with all of my heart, but he drives me a little nuts with the food. I will make anything for him, that I can make healthy, he just never knows what he wants, and he is not open minded at all about trying anything he's not used to. Creature of habit. So, I told him we can take a trip to Trader Joe's and I can scope out the labels of things he is interested in keeping in the freezer. I used to always have stuff in my freezer, I have really been doing nothing but fresh stuff lately. However, I felt the need to walk through the frozen section at Whole Foods on Saturday....it's been a while...aside from when I grab my bread or brown rice wraps from the end. The trip down the aisle urged me to re-connected with an old friend:
Great little treat for after I got home from the pool:Michael even tasted and liked =) Never tried this before...think it's new? I usually ate her Brown rice bowl with tofu or the enchiladas...and my personal fav...mini spinach and pesto pizza...yum!

Lots of good workouts this weekend! Today I got in about 3 miles and did some core work and LOTS of stretching. I really needed it. Lots of foam roller action. Man, I need a massage...BADLY! Perhaps I will book one this week?'
More eats:
As I said in my last post, I made some of Ani's sun burgers for the first time. I don't have a dehydrator, so I bought some very, very expensive Raw Foods Bread from Whole Paycheck (um, $5.59 for 2 slices) but I wanted to full effect of the meal..and as I said, I got dissed, so I felt I deserved it ;-)
Sun Burgers
as promised:
2 stalks celery, diced
1/4 cup yellow onion, diced
1 Bell Pepper (I wanted red, but they only had green organic)
1 teaspoon Sea, Celtic or Himalayan salt
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Parsley
1 cup ground sunflower seeds
1/2 cup ground flax seeds
1/2 cup water
Place everything in a bow except water. Mix up and gradually add water in. Form four balls and flatten into patties.
Top with sliced tomatoes and your fav lettuce (I was too lazy to wash the lettuce, and hungry...like I said, it was last minute cancellation on dinner ..next time I will def add it)

Fitness Move of the day:
Here's a great move to add to your leg workout or full body workout! Plyometric Scissor Lunges...it's a great cardio and strength move! Not for beginners...watch and be cautious of form. Never let your knee go over your toes in this one! Remember, never let your knees go over your toes..keep them in line with your ankle!
