Happy Saturday, ALL!!!
We're headed out tonight for my girl, Carly's b-day @ Dusk in AC. WARDROBE CHECK!
^this dress took 2 very strong guys and a few safety pins to hold it up..I am not very blessed in the ta ta department ;-)
then there's the good ole' lil' black dress with my MK Shoes (and clutch) Michael bought me for our 1st Anniversary in Vegas:
my ankles were so swollen in this pic from walking in these suckers all night...I am used to living in sneakers...ahhh, what us women do for beauty and fashion. No dancing can be done in these without further injuring my poor ankles.
anyhoo, enough pictures of myself (lol to Jen)...just wanted to give a quick update:

First off, Thanks SOOO much to Susan, it was so sweet and thoughtful to send me a copy of Jackie's new book (and the sweet note) all the way from Ireland!!! This made my day!!!! You're the BEST!!!!! Can't wait til I get a chance to read it more, already skimmed the first 2 chapters...awesome!! xo
Bloggy Switch-a-roo
To everyone that has been supportive in my switch, and all your advice and suggestions...THANKS! Especially to Jen, my bloggy bff ;-) you are SO awesome for helping me with the new blog switch and all the techy stuff...you are truly one hott computer geek, girl!

Not to worry, I will load all my old posts on there...and The Fitness Riot will still be here...from here on out my new posts will be on worpress/ self hosting site..it will be MUCH easier for you all to navigate, less bugs and more bandwidth so the loading time and all that jazz should be much smoother!

Laury's Overnight Muesli
1 cup Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Oats
1/2 scoop Vega Vanilla Chai Protein Powder (or flavor of choice)
1/2 TBS Flax Seeds
1/2 TBS Chia Seeds
1/2 TBS Sunflower Seeds
1 TBS Raisins
1-2 chopped Medjool Dates
Sprinkle of Raw Cacao Nibs
1/2 Banana
Mix the oats, all the seeds, protein powder and raisins into the Almond Milk. Soak it overnight. Add sliced banana and sprinkle some cacao on top (or toppings of choice). Enjoy!
